Jeremy Lin took to Instagram yesterday to announce that he will join the Charlotte Hornets. You may remember a time when Lin took the NBA by storm in 2012 with the New York Knicks. “Linsanity” died soon after and Lin has played for 4 teams in the past 5 seasons. The deal is reportedly 2 years for $4.3 million. Lin is coming off a season where he averaged 11 points while shooting 42 percent from the floor. Both are his lowest averages since his rookie season. He will look to back up starting point guard Kemba Walker next season. Whether you like the Hornets’ offseason moves or not, they are clearly a team with a win now mentality.
