Active Bird Community is a NYC-based indie rock band. They are set to release their self-titled 4-song EP this winter. The EP was recorded at Fancy Time Studio in Philadelphia by Kyle “Slick” Johnson (Wavves, Modest Mouse). It will be available on their website (activebirdcommunity.com) as well as bandcamp (activebirdcommunity.bandcamp.
com) and Soundcloud, Spotify. This release will serve as a good introduction to the band’s diverse sound and give listeners a taste of what Active Bird Community is all about. While the band members currently attend different colleges, the band formed while they were in middle school together and they have been recording and performing ever since. They are in the midst of planning a winter tour to push the EP so keep an eye out!
