This week’s APP1800 is with Kyndavee Bichara, President of the Black Student Association as well as the President of the Black Student-Athlete Association at Appalachian State University.
Along with her other titles, she is also a student-athlete herself. She is on the Track and Field team at Appalachian State. She is majoring in International Business and is a Student Advisory Board Member of Struggle Xchange, an orientation leader, and a member of the Rho Theta Chapter of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
We discussed how to support the Black Student Association, and how to uplift Black voices on campus.
The Black Student Association meets via Zoom every Monday at 7 pm. The Zoom link can be found here.
